For six centuries everything stays under the radar until New Orleans artist, Ronnie Weaver paints the futuristic Mertean symbol unknowingly into all of her artwork. All factions both good and bad wake up.
What common thread ties these two women to the Chosen One? For it’s only The Chosen One – half human, half Mertean – who can understand and implement the alien technology that will save our world, and ourselves. And everyone is waiting!.

Shelley Barnett was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her career varied from banking and technical writing, to life coach and owner of her own boutique. Shelley is a multimedia artist and jewelry artisan, has written a book on reading the Tarot, and created inspirational posters and oracle cards. She now resides with her husband in Calgary, Alberta.

Candy Segar, grew up in New Orleans and at the age of six months went to her first Mardi Gras. By five, she was a seasoned veteran and could catch beads and doubloons with the best of them. She knew her way around the French Quarter, but was always partial to the Café du Monde. After graduating twice from the University of New Orleans because she couldn't figure out if she wanted to write or test motors, she opted for the power industry. It readily paid the bills. Apparently though, her passion and heart were submerged in writing.
