T.W. Kirchner Biography

Author

Although writing is my passion, my first loves are my husband, two children, and furry menagerie known as the Kirchner Zoo, which includes five dogs and three cats. I wish I had more time to paint, draw, play tennis, and do yoga. If I could, I’d spend all my time outdoors. Anything wolf, pirate or zombie-related will grab my attention.

I write action-packed stories with a touch of the supernatural that usually include a furry friend. A member of the Kirchner Zoo is always featured on the author bio page in all my books.

My middle grade ‘Pirates Off’ series is non-stop action/adventure. It was special to write because the main character Tommy is based on my son. My YA/safe-for-middle-grade zombie series, The Troubled Souls of Goldie Rich, is a mystery/suspense that has a lot of humor. Throughout the series, characters and places are named after my nieces and nephews. My YA supernatural horror series Dagger & Brimstone will hopefully make readers afraid to turn the lights off.

My watercolor and acrylic paintings are displayed at www.twkirchner.com and www.WhatYouLoveMost.com. My blog at aceinlv.wordpress.com usually incorporates tips on writing

Dealing with demons comes at a stiff price. Racer must face his deepest fears, Locke's life is on the line, and Arloe fights an internal battle of good vs. evil.

Seventeen-year-old Racer and his girlfriend Arloe want to be together despite resistance from her parents. In defiance of an upcoming separation, they run away for the summer, going totally off the grid to a remote town in the Nevada desert.

Tommy Klopt and his family are starting fresh on the straight and narrow. With their new crew member, Cosette, who they saved from a sea witch, the Klopts are building a life in New England.

Tommy Klopt is cunning and clever. Of course, he’s a pirate. The twelve-year-old, along with his brothers, Connor and Dillon, begin a life at sea when their distraught father, Hoody, hits hard times.

After the Klopt’s square their debt with pirate ghost Jacques Mignard, they are left with a new crew member, Cosette, and a debt owed to a sea witch, Volange that brings them to Scotland.

For two years, twelve-year-old Tommy Klopt, his dad, Hoody, and his two brothers, Connor and Dillon, sailed the seas as Robin Hood-type pirates. After meeting, and almost getting killed, by a pirate from the 1600s turned evil ghost, François l’Olonnais, the family decides to head back to land and start over.

For the sleepy, seaside town of Vivian, life is usually just another day at the beach until a rash of bizarre robberies occur with one thing in common—the DNA lifted from the crime scene belongs to a dead man. Fourteen-year-old Goldie Rich is hardly concerned about that. She has enough problems dealing with her annoying guardian for the summer, older sister Gema.

After the first harrowing but successful zombie encounter, fourteen-year-old Goldie Rich and her older sister, Gema, make amends. Since Gema still doesn’t share Goldie’s belief in zombies, Goldie and best friend, Rita, decide to keep their zombie activities a secret. With nine souls left to free from the magical pendant Goldie found, her zombie hunting days are far from over.

The pendant still holds four zombies’ souls, and the Bokor will stop at nothing to get it back. Now that Goldie has discovered the identity of her birth mother and the Bokor and the reason for her adoption, she understands the importance of freeing all the souls and crushing the Bokor’s bid for power.
